For me, this photo needs few words. So I’ll leave it at that.

  1. Brings back many memories to me of the years we ran cattle and had many working corrals and loading chutes to load out of into the trucks when needed. I love black and white photos…not sure why I am more drawn to them than colors. Karmel Timmons does all her fine art prints of various scenes of horses working cows or at rest etc. in black and white and I have several of them, as I love her work.

    1. I can understand your love of the black and white image, as well as Timmons’ work. She has been featured in some of the most prestigious Western art publications with her pencil work–a feat I can’t hope to duplicate with my photographs. I can understand why you treasure the pieces you own!

      1. I love her work as having grown up in the western lifestyle, her drawings are the real deal, she knows the people and the horses:) I love the work of western artists that have been part of what they shoot. You may not be able to duplicate her pencil work, but your black and white images are very good and seeing the corrals brought back memories and the sounds that I was so familiar with…the sound of trucks loading, cattle moving, for us it was usually at dawn…lots of memories for me in your photo:)
